The domain

It was in 1952 that Henri Duboscq's father took the decision to leave his position as a railway worker with the SNCF to set up as a cork merchant, then wine merchant. He bought 7 hectares of the former Mac Carthy domain. Henri Duboscq followed his father and took over the domain in 1974. In their turn, his sons Bruno and Hugues joined him in order to continue the adventure. The motto of the Mac Carthy family sums up the character of these men who wrote the history of the place: "Forti and Fideli Nihil Difficile", "Nothing is difficult to the courageous and the faithful". The domain has established itself as a reference in the appellation and, from vintage to vintage, it is not uncommon for the stars to be harvested in pairs.

The wine

Adorned with a limpid ruby color, this wine charms by its bouquet mixing a fruity side with animal touches and a subtle woody taste. The palate confirms these notes by offering a smooth finish with leather aromas. It goes well with a parmentier of duck confit.
