The domain

Farmed by the Brunier family for six generations, and more precisely since 1891, the vineyard is located on the Crau plateau, the Mecca of Châteauneuf-du-Pape viticulture. In 1821, Claude Chappe, the inventor of the optical telegraph, installed one of his relay towers on the vineyard plateau. Jules, Henri Brunier's great-grandson, gave the fruit of his labor the apt name of "Vieux Télégraphe". After more than 125 years of history, the winegrowers have kept the original philosophy alive.

The wine

This ruby colored wine is accompanied by notes of pepper, roasted meats, Provencal herbs, black cherry, black currant, tapenade, seaweed and saline nuances, which make it complex, delicious and dynamic. It can be enjoyed with red meat, a hare stew...
