The domain

Founded in 1863 by Frédéric Mugnier, a liquor maker from Dijon, the estate followed the Bordeaux example in 1878 by bearing the only mention on its labels "Château Chambolle-Musigny". Today, the estate has kept its family soul and is managed by Jocelyne and Frédéric Mugnier and their permanent team, all of whom are attentive to ensuring that every detail, from the vineyard to the cellar, and right up to the glass, is only the best of nature.

The wine

The Clos de la Maréchale is one of the best wines of Nuits-Saint-Georges and one of the finest of the appellation. A true wine for laying down, a few years of ageing will allow it to bring out the delicate floral notes that characterize it.
