The domain

Yves Gangloff's wines exude all the sensitivity of his artistic soul. At the end of the 1970s, he met his wife Mathilde, with whom he acquired the basics of the winemaking trade between Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu. To this activity are added the few vines that Gaston André, a local winemaker, gives them. It is in 1992 that the first Gangloff vintage was created. Since then, the estate has grown and it is now the children, Loup and Elsa, who have taken over from their mother.

The wine

Complex by the diversity of the grapes assembled, all coming from different plots, this bottle of Côte-Rôtie is composed of 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier. Its greediness and intense fruitiness offer a sensation of velvet and depth. This Côte-Rôtie Barbarine is to be kept for a long time (at least 20 years) and accompanies dishes of character.
