At the beginning of the 20th century, Henri Gouges founded his eponymous estate, now run by Pierre and Christian, his two grandsons. It is with a strong desire to preserve the typicity of each terroir that the estate evolves. The estate has the advantage of offering wines with an immense ageing potential of more than 20 years as well as bottles resolutely turned towards finesse. This mastery gives it its reputation as an exceptional estate.
The wine
This Nuits-Saint-Georges was produced very little. Particularly low yields make it a product that requires at least 10 years of keeping. A Nuits-Saint-Georges that has the silky character of Vosne.
