The domain

Founded in 1880 by Joseph Drouhin, the objective of this enterprising and daring man is to offer quality vintages to which he will give his signature. His son Maurice succeeded him and inherited exceptional plots of land such as Clos des Mouches and Clos de Vougeot. From 1957, it was Robert Drouhin, accompanied by the first woman oenologist in Burgundy, Laurence Jobard, who gave the estate its current dimension. The couple's children, Robert and Françoise Drouhin, perpetuate the values of the house to this day.

The wine

The "fly" was once the noble name for the bee. It was on a south-facing hillside vineyard that the winegrowers' hives had found an ideal location. This is a prestigious bottle, produced from selections of the Pinot Noir grape variety. You will notice on the nose aromas reminiscent of cherry, some spices and a touch of smoke, distant and discreet.
