With a 300 year family heritage, Thomas Barton is the founder of this dynasty in 1722. Today, Lilian Barton Sartorius has taken over the management of the castles and the family trading business. She was joined by her two children, Mélanie, the family's first oenologist, and Damien, who divides his time between the family estates and other wine projects.
This vintage seduces by its sunny side and its depth. Exceptional although not extensive, the Saint-Julien appellation has eleven classified growths, proving the quality of the terroir and the wines' ability to age remarkably.
