The domain

Etienne Grivot joined his father Jean in 1982. He becomes the 5th generation of the Domaine J. Grivot. His children, Mathilde and Hubert, have been working with him since 2010. Together they run a 15 ha vineyard in Vosne-Romanée, stretching from Nuits-St-Georges to Chambolle-Musigny. The exploitation is in biological research with soil working. The harvest is 100% manual.

The wine

A wine of character, dense, concentrated and powerful, it becomes mellow after a few years.
