Closely linked to the history of Burgundy today, the domain as we know it today was essentially created by Jules Lafon, who in 1931 gave up all his duties at the bar of the Dijon Court of Appeal to devote himself exclusively to the wine domain. For a long period, neither Pierre nor Henri Lafon, his sons, took any interest in the domain. René, son of Pierre Lafon, who died prematurely in 1944, intervened to prevent the dismemberment of the vines and took over the domain in 1956. In collaboration with the tenant farmers, he undertook the restoration of the vines and carried out major replanting. Over time, more and more of the harvest was bottled, until all of it was bottled in 1961. In 1984, Dominique Lafon took over from his father with his brother Bruno. Since 1993, the entire 13.8 hectares of vines are exploited by the domain.
This wine has a deep yellow colour, with a light golden hue. The nose opens with white flowers and yellow fruit. Ripe but no hurry.
