The domain

Simon Verry founded the House Verry in 1750. A century later, the Chanson family took it over, renamed it, and enlarged it by acquiring vineyards in the Côte de Beaune, and especially the famous Clos des Fèves now exclusively exploited by them. The surface area is currently 45 hectares and every inch is either classified Premier or Grand Cru.

The wine

The "fly" was once the noble name for the bee. It was on a south-facing hillside vineyard that the winegrowers' hives had found an ideal location. You will notice on the nose aromas reminiscent of cherry, some spices, and a touch of smoke, distant and discreet.
