The domain

Farmed by the Brunier family for six generations, and more precisely since 1891, the vineyard is located on the Crau plateau, the Mecca of Châteauneuf-du-Pape viticulture. In 1821, Claude Chappe, the inventor of the optical telegraph, installed one of his relay towers on the vineyard plateau. Jules, Henri Brunier's great-grandson, gave the fruit of his labor the apt name of "Vieux Télégraphe". After more than 125 years of history, the winegrowers have kept the original philosophy alive.

The wine

The robe is dark, the bouquet combines black fruits, chocolate, and black olives. This Châteauneuf-du-Pape, elaborated according to the traditional methods of its terroir, is quite warm, deep, and unctuous with remarkable persistence. It goes very well with a lamb tagine.
