4 March 1582, in front of the Pont de la Tournelle, La Tour d'Argent, a hostelry serving refined Italian cuisine, receives an exceptional visitor in the person of Henri III, King of France and Poland.

During dinner, His Majesty's eyes are drawn to the attitude of three horsemen.

Instead of eating their meat with their fingers, they were poking it with strange instruments, finely worked, and ending on one side with two sharp points. This is how the fork came into being.

This utensil, proposed here in silver metal, has since become a must for our lunches and dinners and brings elegance and refinement to all your dishes.
