The domain

Since 1620, the Zind-Humbrecht estate has been a passion for a profession passed down from generation to generation. Originally, the Humbrecht family cultivated vines in the great terroirs of Alsace. Created in 1959, 40 hectares of vines are now cultivated and most of the work is done manually. The will of the whole team of 22 winegrowers leads to obtaining ripe, balanced, concentrated and lively grapes, with a total respect for the life of the soil. Fermentation is slow and bottling takes place 12 to 24 months after the harvest. Since 1992, the cellars and buildings of the Zind-Humbrecht estate are located on the Route de Colmar in Turckheim.

The wine

The ripening conditions were ideal in 2007. The nose is explosive with aromas of rose and lychee and then spices. To be opened on its own, it can also be enjoyed in its youth with cheeses or terrines. It will be perfect with poultry or spicy and smoked dishes.
